In Which I Rank Every Video Game I Have Beaten
2/18/2026
Some important information:
S and F ranks are awarded very sparingly. If you see an S or F on a game, it's because I feel very strongly about it.
This list skews positive because it only has games I've beaten. If I hate a game, I probably won't finish it (though there are exceptions).
"Writing" refers not just to story/lore, but also item descriptions, flavor text, loading screen tips, etc. "Audio" refers not just to music, but also voice acting and sound effects.
The overall ranking isn't always an exact average of the other rankings. This is because the different aspects of a game don't always factor in equally. For example, a game with little to no story won't have its ranking affected by the writing quality as much.
Unless specified, it will be assumed that mods are not factored in. Mods and modpacks will be ranked separately.
I have been gaming for most of my life, and I do not remember every single game I've beaten. This list will only include games I remember enough of to rank them.
For some games, it isn't clear what exactly counts as "beating" or "finishing" it. I will use my best judgement in those cases.
I will continue updating this article as I finish more games. Games beaten after writing this will be in order. Games beaten before writing this will be ordered completely arbitrarily.

This is the first metroidvania I ever played. I'm quite nostalgic for it.

This ranking is mostly based on 1.13/1.14, as that is when I was most into Minecraft. This arguably doesn't count as a game I've beaten, as I cheated in arrows while fighting the dragon due to a glitch that made it immune to melee attacks.

I'm not quite sure why the overall rank is higher than any of the individual ranks. I guess it's just greater than the sum of its parts. Or maybe it's because I often play with mods?

The first Bloons game I played was Bloons TD 3 on CoolMathGames when I was 5. I don't remember enough of 3 or 4 to rank them, though. Even 5 is a bit fuzzy in my memory.

This game is much more replayable than BTD5. I'm a bit sad about losing viral frost, though. That was a fun upgrade.

I proudly display my season 1 medal on my profile just to prove I'm an OG. I'm not usually super competitive, but I kind of want to tryhard this game for a while and see how far I can get.
Age of Empires 3

I often watched my father play this game when I was a child. If I were ranking the definitive edition, the graphics would be D instead of S. They just ruined it for no reason. Everyone says Age of Empires 2 is better, but all the reasons they give seem to me like reasons 3 is better.

This game is short, but it does some pretty neat stuff. I do not recommend playing it at night due to its dismal atmosphere.

As soon as I saw the trailer, I knew this game was made for me. It managed to surpass my already-high expectations and became my favorite game.

A charming platformer that deserves to be a lot more popular than it is. I replay it from time to time for no other reason than that it's fun.

It's a really good game. I never cared to 100% it, probably because I was plenty satisfied with the ending I got. Now that I think of it, does this game even have multiple endings?

The interesting combat system is this game's only redeeming quality. All of the characters are one-note and the ending makes no sense whatsoever. Nothing has any context; it's all thrown together arbitrarily.

I don't "get" this game. Why do so many people love it? I feel like I'm missing something.
